Enter Your Page Range

Is the original PDF modified or deleted? ▾
No. Your original PDF file is never modified. The tool reads it into memory, creates a brand-new PDF with only the specified pages, and downloads that new file. Your original remains exactly as it was on your device.
Can I extract pages from a password-protected PDF? ▾
The web tool does not support encrypted PDFs. If you receive an error about encryption, the file has a password. You would need to remove the password protection first (using the PDF owner password in a compatible viewer like Adobe Acrobat or Preview on Mac), then use this tool to extract pages.
Does the extracted PDF retain hyperlinks, bookmarks, and annotations? ▾
Page content (text, images, vector graphics) is fully preserved. Hyperlinks and annotations that exist within the extracted page region are also retained. Document-level bookmarks (table of contents entries) that point to pages outside the extracted range are not included in the output since those pages don't exist in the new document.
What if I type a page number that doesn't exist? ▾
If you enter a page number beyond the document's total page count, the tool will show an error message. For example, if a PDF has 20 pages and you type 1-25, the error will tell you the maximum valid page is 20. Simply correct the range and try again.
